Enrique Sacau
Chief Executive Officer
Enrique Sacau has been CEO at Kneip since 2020. He joined from Equiniti Plc, the London-based specialist in technology, payments and financial services, where he was CEO of their Digital division. Prior to EQ, he was the MD for Europe at FNZ, the private-equity backed leading B2B wealth management technology provider. He started his career at Xchanging, which he joined after completing his PhD at the University of Oxford.
Corinne Bitterlich
Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer
Our Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer, Corinne Bitterlich, has been leading Kneip’s legal, compliance and risk function for over 6 years. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked for BNP Paribas, formerly Banque Paribas Luxembourg, and IQ-EQ, formerly SGG Luxembourg, in senior legal and compliance related roles.
Laura-Madeleine Scherf
Chief People Officer
Laura joined Kneip in September 2022 to lead the Human Resources department following the acquisition of Kneip by Deutsche Börse. Prior to joining Kneip, Laura worked in various roles across Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt and Luxembourg including Talent Sourcing & Development, Global HR Business Relations, and Strategy & Governance for Pre- & Post-Trading.
Camilla Cocozza
Chief Operating Officer
Camilla Cocozza has been part of Kneip operations since 2017. She joined Kneip as part of the team that implemented the new Kneip Priips service. Since then, Camilla initiated and led the implementation of key initiatives to restructure and digitalise operations. For the past 18 months, she has been responsible for the day to day running of operations as deputy to the COO. Camilla holds a master’s degree in finance from Strathclyde Business school.
Laurent Kaiser
Chief Technology Officer
Laurent Kaiser is responsible for IT and Engineering at Kneip. Laurent has over 20 years’ experience leading IT teams within the financial services industry. He joined Kneip from Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), the oldest private bank in Luxembourg, where he was Head of Digital IT. Prior to BIL, he was Senior Development Manager at Clearstream, a global player in the securities services industry. He started his career at LORIA (Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique de Lorraine) by teaching IT algorithmics during his PhD in Computer Science at the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine.
Kimon Apostolidis
Chief Commercial Officer
Kimon joined from the London Stock Exchange Group in 2023, where he held several leadership positions across sales, strategy & product management. Kimon has over 15 years of experience in financial services with a focus on the asset & wealth management industry, and holds degrees from Durham University and Manchester Business School.
Mario Mantrisi
Strategy Director
Mario Mantrisi is responsible for New Markets, with an emphasis on new verticals, geographies and products. He has over 30 years of experience in international finance and regulation, including senior roles in Operations, Product, Strategy and Innovation for Clearstream, Bank of Tokyo, and Banque de Luxembourg. Mario is a native Luxembourger and Kneip veteran, having spent over 17 years working for the company. Mario took a brief break in 2017 and 2018 where he was General Manager of LuxFlag, a non-profit association promoting the raising of capital for sustainable investments through granting quality labels before re-joining Kneip in 2019.
Kieran Parry
Chief of Staff and CFO
Kieran joined Kneip from Skillcapital, an advisory firm with a PE focus. There he was responsible for financial services and fintech across Europe. Prior to this role, Kieran worked in the Global Banking & Markets division at HSBC in London. He started his career at Mazars, where he trained as a Chartered Accountant in audit and transaction support. Later he moved to the consulting division with a focus on large financial institutions.
Ulf Herbig
Head of Product
Ulf Herbig is leading product at Kneip. He has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services and Asset Management industry. Before joining Kneip he worked for Hauck & Aufhäuser Asset Management and Hauck & Aufhäuser Private Banquiers. He represents Kneip in various industry groups including FinDatEx and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), and is representing the Luxembourg Fund Association (ALFI) in data standardisation initiatives for PRIIPs, Mifid II and SFDR.
